About Neil
Neil started his career in Europe as an HR generalist before specializing in Talent Acquisition upon moving to the US. He has held business unit and enterprise heads of talent acquisition positions at companies like Enron, Microsoft, Visa, Motorola/Lenovo, PayPal, Activision Blizzard, and, most recently, Roku. He has also held Head of Talent roles for two tech Unicorns – Flexport and Qualia, both of which involved building talent functions from the ground up.
An innovator, he continuously looks for new ways for the TA function to have a more significant impact. He has found that partnering with & learning from other business functions is a great way to do so. Looking at the parallel application of ideas to the TA function - from developing TA Products (design and product thinking), candidate and hiring manager NPS (customer success), integrated outbound recruiting campaigns (integrated marketing & PR), predictive analytics, and quality of hire metrics (data analytics).
After living and working in Wales, London, Houston, Seattle, Hyderabad, San Francisco, he settled with his family in Redondo Beach, CA.
